DINGLE WAY: Ballyganneen to Camp

My final 3 days on The Dingle Way were quiet.

Walking over Mt. Brandon this time it was rainy and cloudy.

A typical Irish day.

A nice stop and visit with Mary Moriarty at Mt.Brandon Hostel in Cloghane. A wonderful place for a rest and tea with view of Brandon Bay.

The next day was a walk along the Bay on Maharees Beach, one of the longest in Ireland at 12 kilometers.

I only saw one other soul and it is mid July.

So very quiet:

At the end of the 12 kilometer beach, Spillanes offers up some delicious Pub food. The mussels in cream sauce were delicious. And found a nice private room above Fitzgerald’s Pub in Castlegregory my last night. They had a stage set up across the street and saw some local awards handed out before listening to a nice rendition of “Dirty Old Town.”

Walked the last day back to Camp.
