The day started with a great breakfast from Jimmy at Coill an Rois B&B including porridge with Baileys Cream.
Then long walk over Mt. Brandon in fog and bit of rain. Very wet at pass. Passed young German couple.
The trail was extremely wet and slippery heading down. Surprised but glad I never fell. I suppose this cloudy wet weather is more typical of a day up Mt. Brandon. Feel grateful I had that relatively weather climbing to the peak 5 days earlier.
Made it to Mt. Brandon Hostel where friendly Mary Moriarty made me a nice sandwich after a much needed hot shower.
