Leaving Cloghane the Way followed the road for 3.5K to Fermoyle Beach, the longest one in Kerry at 14K.
Followed the Beach along Brandon Bay reaching Fahamore so had a nice lunch of delicious mussels.
Afterwards the trail followed through grasslands and beach to the point near Ballycurrane.

Then on to Castlegregory were I got a room above Fitzgerald’s Pub.
Had an excellent dinner at Pisces Restaurant; chicken liver pate on toast for a starter followed by Hake over spinach and potato.

Day 8-Castlegregory to Camp.
I walked 10K to Camp but getting back to the road the scenery was uninspiring. Decided to hitchhike to Tralee and skip the retracing of my initial 18K.
