And that last long hill climb before Verrès was a challenge in the hot 28C sun.
And constant ups and downs.
Leaving Chatillon we continued east down the Aoste Valley and then at Saint-Vincent it turned due south.
For the first time in over a week we didn’t see any other pilgrims while walking but late in the day the two young university students, Barbara and Selene from Trento, Italy showed up at our Hotel il Casello.
