Camino LeVante Day 28 Toro

More high plains and the beautiful town of Toro. Walked around Toro taking sunrise photos.
Toro is the center of the excellent Toro wine region.  Tempranillo grapes. Unfortunately here on a Sunday when all the Bordegas are closed. Another good town to come back to for a few days as a tourist.
The Alcazar at sunrise

Walking around the Alcazar and enjoying the views at sunrise was wonderful albeit a bit chilly.

    1. We liked Toro too. And La Mancha wines before that. There are so many great Spanish reds beyond Rioja. We were also recently turned on to Ribeira Sacra. On Camino Madrid, ribeira del Duero were great as well. I’m looking forward to trying them all.

Happy to answer any questions and help in any way.
