We left Brigitte’s and Jean-Claude’s at 7:30 and Brigette walked the first K with us. What a lovely end to our beautiful stay! Then we walked hard as it is supposed to reach 37C today.

Best to get done early. We continued on the historical route due south.

We were welcomed in Donnement, a small farming village by Michel with her grandson. She turned out to be another great host. Served us tea and provided some fruit and access to her tomato stores. Then she invited us to use their indoor pool which was perfect on this hot day.

The dinner in the big garage was a blast. In addition to Michel and her husband Jean-Luc there were 4 other relatives.

We started with a bottle of Michel’s husband Jean Luc’s homemade Sherry.

Then an incredibly delicious tomato salad.

Then the entree of 3 different kinds of home made pizza from their wood burning stove in the garage.

Cheese and sausage, olives and peppers, 4 cheese. Italy will have a tough time matching these homemade pizzas.

Good rose wine to go with the pizza. A night of great food and great fun.
